COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Coaching Built Around You
"My goal isn't to give you a list of things to change.
My goal is to help you understand your golf game — what's working, what's holding you back, and what you can do to improve.
Every golfer is different. That's why I believe the best instruction starts with listening to the student, understanding their goals, and creating a plan that fits their individual needs."

STUDENT STORIES
Real golfers describe their experience.
I met Sara when I was 7 years old. My dad got me in to golf and wanted to start some lessons up, which is when we heard about Sara. She is the perfect teacher for any and all types of players. I was a beginner when I started seeing her and since then she has helped me win my first tournament, qualify for USGA Championships, get a full ride at a Division I University, and overall fall in love with the great game of golf. I have not only grown as a player but as an individual as well. All of my success I credit to her...... Sara is the type of instructor that goes in to depth about what you might need to work on, how to fix it, and in my opinion, the most important part, what you were doing incorrectly in the first place. She does an excellent job at breaking things down in a way her specific student can understand it. She does hand on demonstration, along with videos and examples. She is a professional in all parts of the game, physical and mental. Any rut you are in at the time, she will find a way to pull you out of and improve. There has never been a time I've walked out of a lesson not feeling like a better golfer and person that I was before. All in all, Sara is the best and there isn;t anyone who won't improve by her teaching.

I began working with Sara Stephens, PGA when I was 10 years old, and she has been a huge part of my golf journey ever since. She helped build my confidence, encouraged me to compete, and taught me how to think my way around the course—not just how to swing a club. She also coached my older sister, and over the years became more than a coach by developing a genuine relationship with our entire family. What sets her apart is her patience, technical expertise, and unwavering support of her students. Her instruction, on-course coaching, and mentorship played a major role in my development as a junior golfer and ultimately helped me achieve my goal of competing at the D1 collegiate level. I am incredibly grateful for everything she has done for me, and I would highly recommend her to any golfer looking for a coach who is committed to developing both the player and the person.
